EEI National Key Account Workshop was held in the wonderful surroundings of the JW Mariott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in TX. The rain definitely did not stop play for energy consumers and vendors participating in this fall’s top gathering of industry leaders. As always there were a host of informative sessions for delegates from the newbie to the old hand in the form of educational workshop tracks and of course the main theatre, where the key topics on most facility and energy specialists agendas were discussed. Anyone who knows EEI (Edison Electric Institute) will know that one of the best facets of these events is the networking and social side of energy, where end users and vendors have the opportunity to get to know each other better at one of the main events or vendor organized gatherings.

Over 80 of North America largest energy consuming companies attended representing retail, restaurants, data centers, and manufacturing sectors and included names like Staples, Autozone, CorePoint, Albertsons, McDonalds, Macys and Lowes.

This year the rain held off pretty well for the golf event and those attending the Texas rodeo were in for an amazing display of courage, horsemanship, bull riding, and pageantry. The evening main event that brought everyone together would not have been complete with an NFL Dallas Cowboy.
