McCumbee McAleer Racing (MMR) with AEROSPORT has announced that Gavin Sanders will replace Chad McCumbee in the No. 13 Ford Mustang GT4, sponsored by Vervantis, for the upcoming Road America 120. This race, the seventh round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Championship, offers a fresh opportunity for the team.

About Gavin Sanders

Gavin Sanders, a 21-year-old from Mount Albert, has quickly risen in the ranks of North American sportscar racing. He won the ‘Rookie of the Year’ title in the 2020 Nissan Micra Cup and achieved notable success in the inaugural Nissan Sentra Cup. In 2022, he was the Vice-Champion in the SRO GT4 America Silver class, securing 10 podiums and two wins. Sanders, who co-founded Sanders Motorsport in 2023, has also been pursuing opportunities in both Canadian and American sportscars while completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Automotive at Georgian College.

MMR with AEROSPORT will start the Road America 120 weekend with two practice sessions on Friday, August 2. The race will be held on Saturday, with the green flag dropping at 2:45 p.m. ET. The event will be broadcast live on Peacock, providing fans with an opportunity to watch the new driver lineup in action.
